Grandma

On Saturday evening, July 3rd, 2010, a beautiful soul was taken into Heaven to be with our Lord. Syd's Grandma, Eleanor Libsack lost a brief and courageous battle with cancer that night, surrounded by her children.

Grandma Ellie will be greatly missed. She was a woman of great faith. She loved gospel music and singing in the church choir. She was an amazing cook- Syd's favorite was probably her famous "blina". :) She loved her family very much and had the gift of telling stories from past and present.

Syd and I feel so grateful for the time we were able to spend with Grandma. Especially that she was able to come to Georgia this past Christmas to spend the holidays with the whole family. So many wonderful memories with us...with our children. She was such an amazing person...
